Alessandro Calvio, an Italian from Puglia, has been in the hair and beauty sector for 30 years, starting his professional training at the age of 16.
At the age of 21, he moved to Milan at Orea Malia’ and then to Berlin Toni&Guy and Barcelona to further develop and master his hair skills. In 2005, he joined the Rossano Ferretti brand, where he worked as an art director and international educator for 12 years traveling around the world. From 2016-19 he worked as an artistic consultant at Daniel Galvin brand. Since March 2019 works with hair brands as a creative artistic consultant.
It was ranked as one of the “best cuts” for the UK in the Tatler Hair Guide, August 2016 and 2013, published in the Global A-List of hairdressers of Net A Porter Magazine and recommended by Vogue UK’s diary as “one of the best cuts and hairstyles in the city “.
Alessandro first mastered and then shaped a cutting technique as well as his colour painting technique that follows the natural fall.
The unique style that creates, reveals the elegance of natural hair and thus reveals the true beauty of every customer … that’s why he is so passionate about his work.
“For me it’s not just about cutting, coloring or styling hair, it’s about giving a message, an act of love … respecting and paying attention to the person before me“.

He has designed many of the best editors of beauty and fashion and international and local celebrities including Hofit Golan, Vanessa Kirby, Bianca Jagger, Jade Jagger, Carmen Chaplin, Kelly Hoppen, Bryan Ferry, Pippa Middleton, Carol Middleton, the princess of Qatar, the princes of Abu Dhabi, Giannina Facio Scott and Princess Tarantini Gabriella of Tuscany. He often travels to Mumbai, India, where he is highly sought after by the famous Bollywood stars and the elite of Indian society
